We are a Philadelphia-based interior design studio (that makes the occasional trip to Manhattan and other faraway places). At Stella Ludwig Interiors, we design extraordinary homes for busy lives. Our clients value beauty, trust expertise, and seek a seamless experience that allows them to focus on living well while we thoughtfully manage every detail.
Guided by intuition, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of how people live, we create homes that are deeply personal—spaces that support who our clients are today and the lives they are dreaming of creating.

OUR STORY

At Stella Ludwig Interiors, we're usually more interested in hearing our clients' stories than telling our own. But if you're curious, here's a glimpse into the experiences that have shaped our perspective.
Stella's journey began in Colombia, SA., where she grew up in a lively home filled with 6 siblings, creativity, and an abundance of love. Even as a child, she found joy in imagining what could be—selecting paint colors, tiles, rearranging rooms, and discovering beauty and possibility in everyday materials.
That early curiosity eventually led her to the textile and fashion industries, then after earning a degree in Business Administration from Temple University, she later pursued further training in the Interior Design Program at The Art Institute of Philadelphia.
Her appreciation for craftsmanship, proportion, and thoughtful detail continued to evolve through extensive travel across Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia, including a transformative year spent living in Bangkok with her family. These experiences deepened her understanding of how culture, architecture, art, and ritual shape the way we live within our homes.
Today, Stella draws inspiration from the elegance of historic European architecture, the richness of the natural world, and the enduring influence of fashion design. Her work blends historical details with modern sensibilities, embracing harmony, layered materials, and the artistry of thoughtful detail.
She believes a home should do more than look beautiful. It should reflect who you are, support how you live, and quietly elevate the life you're growing into.
For Stella, interior design has never been about creating perfect rooms. It has always been about creating environments where people can gather, restore, celebrate, dream, and fully embrace the lives they have worked so hard to build.
