More Than Design, The Latest Happenings at SLI
This year has been an exciting one and I can not wait to share the news with you. Not only did I volunteer as co-chair to lead this year’s American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) exclusive biennial Gala, I also received another design award for our Arthaus Show House project!

I am so appreciative of all the hard work my team (some of whom are not pictured) did to make this happen. I am a firm believer that it takes a village for anything you want to accomplish in life and that if we work together amazing things can be accomplished. It feels great to have all of our hard work be seen and acknowledged within our industry. We all want the best for our investment and choosing an interior designer is no different. If you are looking for a designer who creates award-winning custom luxurious interiors, look no further. Certainly, our awards help showcase our credibility, but for us, everything comes back to our clients loving their homes. We have seen the transformative power of design that helps our clients live better and happier, and keep returning to work with us.

For me, interior design is not just a degree, it requires continued learning of industry trends and new technology. To make sure I am always providing my clients with the best and highest quality elements, I stay current by attending compelling and informative lectures. As an ASID member for over 10 years, I have received a great deal of knowledge and wisdom from this outstanding organization and have met incredible designers and industry partners. To show my gratitude and appreciation, I was compelled to support the association through vital and much-needed volunteer work.

For the past 7 years, I have been proudly serving and supporting the chapter as a Co-chair for their exclusive biennial Gala that recognizes and awards interior designers, design firms, and architects in the Philadelphia region for their outstanding projects. The Gala’s proceeds support design students and state-of-the-art education for the design community. I have loved this opportunity to give back and connect with other extraordinarily talented designers in the region. This year’s incredible venue was Mitten Hall at Temple University which coincidentally is my undergraduate alma mater. I had a great night celebrating with friends and colleagues from the design community and I am beyond proud of all the work that the committee volunteers did to make this such a successful event. Until my next blog, be bold!
